Who doesn’t love a good New Year’s Eve wedding? Planned and designed by Lauryn Prattes, this glam winter wedding embraced the Beaux-Arts architecture of Perry Belmont House. Lauryn and her team created “a modern twist on the famous Bradley-Martin Ball hosted by the groom’s family in 1897. The couple opted for New Year’s Eve as the perfect night to celebrate their love and recreate the fabulous ball for their wedding — dubbed the Burrows-Martin Ball.”
Inspired by the decadence of the Beaux-Arts architecture the couple loves so much, Lauryn Prattes came up with a Gatsbyesque design complete with over-the-top florals and mirrored tables. Tables were topped with elaborate place settings from Maison De Carine and paired with our Lynx Chairs. Designed with a sleek gold frame and pleated back, the Lynx were perfect for the glam vibe of the space. Plus, their gorgeous teal upholstery complemented the peacock taxidermy scattered throughout the space!
This New Year’s Eve wedding included several subtle nods to the holiday. Guests danced on a custom, hand-painted vintage clock dance floor. And, of course, champagne was flowing throughout the night!
Happy Anniversary to Shannon & Dana, and a very Happy New Year to you all! Cheers! 🥂
