When Brides and Minted crowned “Verona Sunset” as their Color of the Year, we jumped at the chance to bring this vibrant hue into our world of rentals! With its peachy-orange tones that paint the warmth of a sunset, Verona Sunset was made for statement-making event design. Teaming up with Grit & Grace Inc., we crafted an event where Verona Sunset took center stage—think juicy, layered orange tones, vibrant table linens, and playful details that bring out its warmth and depth. Here’s how we’d recommend weaving this color into any event for maximum impact.

Creating a Verona-Infused Tablescape
To start, we knew Verona Sunset deserved more than just an accent role—it had to be the star of the tablescape. We debuted our brand-new Verona Peach + Orange Striped Linen, which layers warm peach and bold orange in a custom, in-house pattern that gives “sunset vibes” from the get-go. This linen instantly set the tone for the event, bringing a fresh, modern edge to the table while allowing those smaller, equally vibrant details to shine. Paired with crisp whites and monochromatic tones.

Playing with Layers and Patterns
Taking notes from Grit & Grace’s Laura Ritchie, we leaned into a layered approach, exploring all the ways Verona Sunset can be the hero without overwhelming the eye. Inspired by her philosophy on mindful maximalism, we kept the palette within the orange family but introduced tonal variations—marigold, amber, and soft peaches—to add depth. Our Aubrey Rust + Peach Scalloped Napkins brought in another dimension to the table, matching the linen yet adding that little bit of visual texture that feels intentional and chic. We paired this with Inez Amber Fluted Glassware and Reine Gold + Lucite Flatware to tie everything in!

The Guest Book and Telephone Setup
No ordinary guest book here! We wanted something fun and memorable, so we introduced The Bronx Orange Phone Booth, giving guests a chance to “call in” their messages and well wishes. The bright orange of the phone booth and the custom painted Bingley Modern Pillars made for perfect for photo ops and guest experience!

The Party Favor Display: A Verona Peg Board Moment
It’s the little things, right? We’re talking about those details that make guests go, “Wait, where did they even find that?” For this Verona Sunset celebration, every piece was handpicked to keep the vibe sun-soaked and swoon-worthy. This custom Pierce 12’ Pegboard was painted in Verona Sunset hues and loaded up with party favors for each guest to enjoy. Whether you’re planning for a wedding or a corporate event, a color-coordinated favor display is the perfect way to tie in the color theme while adding to the guest experience! And don’t even get us started on the custom-printed menus and table cards. These touches kept guests anchored to the table (and hopefully too busy admiring to realize they were overdue for a refill). It’s often the little details that make the biggest impact!

Bringing Verona Sunset into Your Next Event
Our collaboration with Brides, Minted, and Grit & Grace Inc. brought Verona Sunset to life in a way that was vibrant, modern, and full of personality. Inspired by Laura Ritchie’s vision, we love the idea of using tonal oranges in different patterns and textures to create a layered, eye-catching look. For event planners looking to work with Verona Sunset, consider pairing it with whites for a crisp contrast or even introducing a bold primary color like navy for a preppy twist. With its versatility, Verona Sunset can adapt to a range of styles—from romantic to modern to playful.
